Dr. David “Dave” Trotter is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and physician executive with deep experience across provider and payer utilization sectors. A recognized leader in medical record review innovation, he has advanced evidence-based systems that bring fairness, speed, and clinical precision to disability and utilization determinations.
As co-founder of ePriori Health and CEO of IntelliAuth, Dr. Trotter has guided the development of AI-assisted platforms and methodologies that improve consistency and defensibility in utilization review. Earlier in his career, he founded DTMD Ortho Reviews and served as President of the Center for Sports Orthopedics, where he was also a team physician for U.S. Soccer.
Dr. Trotter earned his M.D. from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at Loyola University Medical Center and Hines VA.
Michael Valasek is an executive and innovator in the healthcare and insurance industry with a passion for growing businesses through the delivery of the highest quality services. More than 25 years leading operations management; sales management; new business development; product development; marketing; quality improvement.
Mr. Valasek was CEO of Med-Eval and led the company’s national expansion of services and acquisition by Genex in 2016. Since becoming CEO in 2011, Mr. Valasek’s strategic direction, leadership and innovation was the driving force behind the company’s successful national expansion of medical evaluative and diagnostic services.
His dedication to business development and delivery of quality services at Med-Eval holding positions of Director of Business Development, Senior Vice President/COO led to his promotion to CEO.
Before this venture, Mr. Valasek worked for Concentra Medical Centers and held positions as Director of Specialists Programs and Director of Outcome Assurance. He started his career in the healthcare and insurance industry as a medical and vocational case manager.
Mike received his Bachelors in Rehabilitation Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his Masters Business Administration from University of Phoenix.
